Hello,
today my iPhone started crashing any app when typing an Emoij symbol.
I did a reset on the phone and also reconfigured it as a new phone. Nothing helped :-(
It is a German iOS 7.0.5.
Does someone have a hint how to get this fixed?

Found it: You go into your settings -> general -> reset -> reset keyboard dictionary and restart the phone after. This fixes the issue!

Hi, I'm from South Africa and I speak a language that is not one of the 'installed' dictionaries, so it takes forever for my phone to 'learn' it. In the beginning it's quite irritating bec it tries to change everything to English.. Is there a way I can fix this without doing the reset??
I cannot spend weeks in frustration again with trying to type in my home language on my
iPhone...

The only thing you can do is turn off the autocorrect completely when you use your home language.
Or do you perhaps have a keyboard on your list which is just named "QWERTY"? I have heard of a user who had this and it did not use any autocorrect system even when that was turned on. But I have never seen this keyboard myself.
