Updated operating system now getting "blocked plug-ins" on everything...Help

In Safari Preferences, see the following:
You will also need the latest Adobe Flash Player plug-in (12.0.0.44), or due to security issues, the built-in Apple malware protection will block older versions.
"blocked plug-ins"?? Need assistance.
