Q: Clash of Clans, in app purchases

A game, Clash of Clans, allowed my son to make purchases without requiring a password. Until today I have always had to enter a password for any purchases in the app store. When I checked my settings, restrictions were off. I suspect that when I upgraded my phone, my previous restrictions were changed without any action taken by me. How can I get Apple to refund my money. Supercell, the makers of Clash of Clans have passsed responsibility off to Apple.

Thanks

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4
