Q: IPad Calendar deleting all events older than a month

My Ipad calendar is deleting all events before the last month.  I have tried all of the sugggestions regarding changing the setting to "sync all events" and I have turned it off and on several times to no avail.  There are no other Apple products affiliated with this ipad, so it does not have any other machines to work off of.  I checked the icloud systems page and all appears to be working fine.

    If changing the Sync setting to All Events didn't fix things, I suggest you try deleting the iCloud account, then signing back in.  To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Delete from My iPad and provide the password when prompted (if you're running iOS7).  Then sign back in.  (This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your iPad, but not from iCloud.  Your data will reappear on your iPad when you sign back in.)
