Syncing contacts and calendar to iPhone from outlook mac 2011

Will my iCloud account sync updates I make in Outlook for mac 2011 to my contacts and calendar? When I try to sync them using iTunes, I do not have the info button that takes me to the window that allows me to select them for synchronisation.

When I was using Mail and Contacts and Calendar that came with my mac this worked fine but now that I want to use outlook I am having problems getting my devices to synchronise.

iPhone 5c, OS is the most up to date

Outlook for Mac 2011 does not support iCloud contacts and calendars syncing because Microsoft chose not to include the CardDAV and CalDAV protocols necessary to do so (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2648915), which is strange since they do support these on Outlook for Windows.

If you want to contacts and calendars with iCloud you'll have to use the OS X apps.
