Q: I updated my ipad through itunes as normal then the following day proceeded to update my iphone but my laptop wouldn't recognise it this has never happened before.I have checked all the things I need to.I uninstalled and reinstalled itunes but no good.

I updated my ipad through itunes as normal and the following day attempted to do the same with my iphone but my laptop with windows 8 wouldn't recognise it.

I plugged in my ipad and on the first attempt wouldn't recognise it either.I tried again and eventually it did but still not the iphone. I checked everything uninstalled and reinstalled itunes but still not recognising, does anyone have any other things I can try?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4, Acer laptop
