Sounds like you are restoring your iPod.
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
If the iPod firmware has not been previously been download, it has to be downloaded since restoring via iTunes reinstalls the firmware to the iPod
do i need to download every one of my ipod software to fix my ipod touch or can i just click done to fix it?
