GB10 crashes after activating Focusrite PlugIn Suite AU

Hello,

i have a problem with installing my Focusrite Plug-In Suite (latest 1.5-Version) on the latest Mavericks.

After doing as i was told from the 'so called' Focosrite support:

finally GarageBand crashes every time.

For the experts here is the 'crash-log':

(couldn't manage to insert the crash-log-PDF)

Hope that somebody knows the solution...

Have you checked the compatibility with Mavericks on this page?

Do you have the latest plug-ins?

Incompatible plug-ins can cause GarageBand to crash:

Hello léonie - my interface (Scarlett 2i.2) is working fine.

It's just the 'PlugIn-Suite' that causes the problem (i have the latest version installed (1.5) that should be compatible with the latest mavericks (so focusrite is writing on their support page).

I'm having the exact same problem. I purchased the 2i2 a couple days ago, when i try to activate the plugin suite GB10 crashes.

Was this ever resolved?

Hello Zack - unfortunalety there's no solution yet.

I've contacted the Focuswrite-Support several times but they couldn't solve the problem 😟

Maybe the next GarageBand-Update will bring the answer!?!

We have to wait...

I too am having this problem, OSX 10.9.2 and GB 10.0.2. This is very odd because the demo mode works fine, not sure why the licensed version would not be compatible. Has anyone found a fix for this yet?

Hi guys,

I had exactly the same problem, so I activated the plugins in Ableton Live 9 instead. This worked fine and when I went back into Garageband they were activated and ready to go in there too.

So, I know not everyone will have other recording software, but I know Focusrite ships Ableton Live Lite with a lot of its products. Try activating it in there instead, or anything else... Pro Tools.. Logic... Reason... anything you've got.
