Optical drive is unnecessarily opening and closing repeatedly (My system is Mac Pro Mid 2012)

My operating system is Mac Pro Mid 2012. Its Optical drive is unnecessarily opening and closing repeatedly on its own So I had done Apple hardware test and it detected a problem and displayed an error code:4SNS/1/40000001:1p6M-0.960.And also when I switch on my computer the Apple logo gets a jerk before it is completely on.If you know any solution please help me (My mac is under the AppleCare Protection Plan).
