Q: Unlocking iPhone from carrier

Hi there,

 

How long does it take after requesting (via carrier) the unlocking of my iPhone from current carrier?  I've been waiting a week and so far have had nothing.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4

    Call the carrier and stir them up. Many carriers intentionally drag

    their feet because they do not want to lose you as a customer.

     

    Posts in these fora say some EU carriers take almost a month -

    if not more - to unlock phones. Keep after your carrier - go to

    their store and ask for a manager to assist you. If they tell you

    that Apple is behind the delay, they are mis-leading you. Keep trying.
