mac app vs ipad app
why are there different apps available on my iPad app icon than what i have on my Mac app? there are several apps that i like on my iPad that are not on my mac store (google,yahoo finance, ect)

The iPad and the Mac have different operating systems, the software that runs the device. The apps have to be developed specifically for each operating system. Mac apps don't run on the iPad and vice versa. Some developers don't take the time or trouble to develop for both.
