On my iPod Nano 6th Generation, whenever I tap on the Photos icon the iPod restarts completely. Why is my iPod crashing?

It's really confusing. My software is all up to date, and the photos sync properly but when I try to access them, the iPod crashes. Please help!

Hello, mnlhbl.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

Start with removing the sync preference for syncing photos. This will remove all photos from the device. Test to see if the behavior persists. If the issue does not present itself without photos on the device , this issue could be related to a corrupt photo in your library. This step can take some time to isolate as you will need to only sync blocks of photos at a time until the issue presents itself again. Once you have isolated the photo remove it from your library and attempt the sync again. If it does persists, I would try a restore on the device and resync your data back to your iPod.
