Q: Iphone bluetooth does not work!!!!!

Im trying to connect my macbook pro to my iphone to send pictures and it not connecting, why??? Why does it even make sense you have bluetooth if it cannot connect to other bluetooth devices?

The iPhone does not support connecting to a computer via bluetooth except for tethering (personal hotspot). The "why" part I can't help with as this forum is primarily user-to-user support and I'm just another user. The supported profiles are http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647
