Q: Is it possible for me to transfer my purchases from one Apple ID to another?

Hello. I currently have two Apple ID accounts. I want to keep my iCloud account and just use that one as my Apple ID. I want to delete one that I have linked to a diffrent email address. Before I do this, I would like to know if I could transfer my purchases on the other ID to my iCloud Apple ID. Or is this not possible?

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
