Feb 9, 2014 4:41 PM in response to roaminggnomeby Lawrence Finch,You need to connect the phone to iTunes and use the Restore iPhone button in iTunes. If the phone is unlocked when the restore completes you should see a message in iTunes saying that the phone is unlocked. It usually takes several days after you receive the message from AT&T for Apple to update their activation database.

Feb 9, 2014 5:07 PM in response to jojo_777by Lawrence Finch,Try again, a day later. When I unlocked my 4S it was 5 days after I got the message from AT&T before the unlock went through. And you must use Restore iPhone, not Restore Backup.
