why won't powerpoint files open on my MacBook Pro?
Could someone let me know why some files, such as PowerPoint, which worked find before, are no longer opening on my MacBookPro?
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
Office 2004 does not work in Mavericks. Neither will other older applications:

Get LibreOffice which can handle Powerpoint files.
