Q: Rental Movie won't start. Only able to see black screen, on the other hand. menu bar on player, able to see timeline screen shots.

    I had a similar problem. I don't have any rentals but all my movies that I downloaded from iTunes stoppes working. I spent an hour with Support but that didn't help. I tried all sorts of suggestions offered in the Forums but nothing worked. I then went back into my iTunes account and downloaded the newest version of iTunes. Bingo! Now all my movies work again.
