my mac mini 2012 is not mirroring my 2nd generation apple tv

I recently updated and loaded Mavericks two weeks ago.

The mirroring worked for a couple of days. Then it stopped working. It would mirror or I could extend desktop for 15 mins then it would drop out.

Now My mac will not even pick up the Apple Tv on to connect with via the Mirror.

I have restroed the Apple TV and made sure both have the latest software updates.

It still isnt working.

ALso I have massive dramas with Home sharing working - it workd then it doesnt - then I reboot everythign then it workd for a while then it goes really slow then it shuts off.

Doing my Head in on these issues.

Can someone please HELP??????
