Hi Abdel Mac,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you are connecting your MacBook Air to your iPhone using Personal Hotspot, but the connection is unexpectedly being lost.

This behavior could be caused by either your Mac or your iPhone, and I recommend testing both. If possible, you may also want to connect to another Wi-Fi network with your MacBook Air to see if you can reproduce the behavior.

I recommend starting with the troubleshooting steps in these articles:

Hi Jeremy

Found out what the problem was.

As I opened up the app "memory clean" I came to find that my ram space was occupied by both active- wired- and inactive programs.

All I had was aprox. 200mb ram to process everything when opening new pages and programs, which ofcourse will cause problems. And my mac only has 4gigs of ram which can cause problems quite fast.

So I cleaned up and ended with having between 2,5 and 3,1 gigs of ram free space, and viola, problem solved.

side note:

also programs in the dock took up alot of inactive space on the ram, so when I removed those I don't use on a daily base it gave me an extra half gig.

But thanks for your answer anyways, good info for another time when not necessarily having having ram problems.

Hope my info helped to maybe solves other peoples problems similar to mine in the future.

Peace
