Q: How do I delete an app from the Cloud I no longer want to have

There are apps I purchased for the grandkids when they were younger. There will be no more young ones, and it makes no sense to save them. In addition, there are things I bought or got for free I no longer want. How do I delete them from the Cloud. I know how to dump them from the iPad. I just don't want them any more. Thanks.

You can't completely delete them. Any itunes or App store purchases (including free downloads) remain associated with your AppleID indefinitely. From iTunes on a computer, however, you can hide them so they will no longer display in your purchases section on iOS. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
