QuickTime Player can't open .avi
I'm trying to watch a movie that I just downloaded on my Macbook Pro. I keep getting this error "QuickTime Player can't open .avi" My software is up to date. Can someone help me?

AVI is not native to Quicktime, but you can use Perian component to open AVI in QuickTime or if your QuickTime does not support the Perian, you need to convert AVI to MOV for QuickTime.
