iphone 4 wont work

I've had my iphone for a year and 10 months i cracked the screen way back and today i was on facetime and my phone completely blacked out like completely off and my lock screen button doesnt work and ive plugged my phone on the charger and that wor't work either. is there anyway i can turn it on or maybe text on the computer?
