how to configure airport express to fetch tv

I have just received the Fetch TV set top box. The ADSL router is in the next room attached to the IMac. We are running WIFI and ethernet. The Airport Express is plugged into the wall and connected to the STB by ethernet cable. The plan is for this to act as a bridge between the router (in the next room) and the STB using WIFI. It is not discoverable on the Mac as yet , do I need to set up a new network in order for this to happen? Any assistance most appreciated.

Since you have the AirPort Express connected back to the ADSL router by Ethernet both routers should be reconfigured for a roaming type network. In this type of network the Express and ADSL routers will both be broadcasting a Wi-Fi network, but that network will use the same network name (aka SSID) and wireless security.

In this case, the Fetch TV would connect to the roaming Wi-Fi network.
