How do I close down open apps that are running on iphone 5c? such as spotify? As it is constantly streaming and using up my internet!

Can anyone tell me how to close down apps that are running on my iphone 5c, such as spotify that is constantly streaming and using my internet.??



I have tried to double click, can see what is open and running but can't figure out how to close them down??

  1. Once you've double-tapped the home button, the previews will appear
  2. Swipe to either the right or left to locate the app you want to close
  3. Tap and hold the app you want to close
  4. Swipe upward


When you swipe upward, you should see that app preview fly up and off the screen. Once that happens, the app is completely closed.
