Metronome bar, beat & division settings

In Logic, you can go to File > Project Settings > Metronome to adjust the settings for the bar, beat and division of the internal metronome but I can't find any way to do that in Mainstage. I have a track that is kind of slow and it will be tough to perform and stay on the beat without hearing the eighth note divisions, but the only way I can find to get that is to actually double the tempo but then that messes up using Playback and being able to sync everything together.

I've actually tried switching the Klopfgeist plugin in the metronome channel strip to an Ultrabeat but I can't seem to get the sequencer working right to play eighth notes--when I try to create additional notes in the sequencer, it start swinging the beat even with "swing" off. I've searched around a bit and can't find any tutorials on building a metronome in Ultrabeat (without it involving creating and looping a MIDI region which would obviously only work in Logic). Any advice/help?

Thanks

Hi

Simply create a Software Instrument channel at Patch or Set level (wherever you need it), program in your desired 'click' pattern and switch on the UB Sequencer. Make sure that the UB channel does not have any MIDI input device assigned.

The UB Sequencer will play whenever the internal MS clock is running, but only for that particular Patch/Set.
