Dual Display Problem: Primary screen swaps randomly on startup
Hello,
since i installed Mavericks on my formatted Mac Pro (NO update-installation, a fresh and new install!) i have a problem with my dual display setup:
Everytime i startup the machine, it's a big suprise which of my two screens is the primary one. That's very annoying due to my multi display panel setup in all of my graphic and video software which i have to re-arrange everytime.
My testings:
- I thought it was the WD Firewire HDD i connect before startup - it was not!
- Second i thought it's the "Displays have seperate spaces" function - it was not!
- No idea anymore!
It seems to be a major Bug in Mavericks because all of my previous Mac OS Versions handled my two NEC Displays perfectly.
My setup is:
Mac Pro 2009 with two NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 in it. Connected via DVI with two NEC P221w Displays.
I hope someone of the Apple folks will have a look at this issue. Actuall Mavericks is for me in terms of "Dual Display" a pain.
Best regards
