iOS downgrade?

Hello!

I am running an iPhone 4, iOS 7.0.4. I updated recently, which was reccomended by Apple. Now, after the update my iPhone has been slowed to a crawl, because it is, as I've read, a low-end device for iOS 7. I got the phone in the beggining of 2012, so I figured it was all right, being that the hardware was released in 2010. I've now come to know that a downgrade isn't possible? I think that it is outrageous, when it is as slow as it is, now. I've read that I can downgrade to iOS 6.1.3 using my shsh.blobs, which I don't have. Do any of you know of a workaround? I can't seem to fathom why Apple would recommend updating when it makes the product so much worse. Wow. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Sigurd K
