can I stop ical from going to all my devices
I have a macbook and my child has an ipad on the same account. Can I block them from viewing my ical; itunes; mail, photos etc

No, iCloud is designed as a single user system, if you try to use it with more than one person on the same account they will have access to the entire content of the account.
Your child, if 13 or over should have their own account.
