Arabic Books

Apple requires that books with Arabic as the primary language be in epub3 format for the iBookstore, and iBooks Author cannot produce that format. So you would have to use another app, like InDesign or Sigil.

Whether the iBookstore is accepting Arabic books in epub3 format is also not clear. Last I heard they were not, but I don't have any recent info.

PS The iBookstore Formatting Guidelines of Nov 13, 2013 list 12 languages not yet supported by the Store, and Arabic is one of them.
