How do i rearrange my ipad home screens

Best suggestion on the whole page,!! BUT, APPLE should make it so the screen order can be changed easily

Totally agree that removing this functionality from iTunes was a stupid decision on Apple’s part. That such a basic feature is missing from iOS is baffling. They turned what should be a really simple task into a major pain in the *ss.

Or you can put all the apps on one page in a folder and move that.

You don't rearrange the screens themselves, you rearrange the icons on the screen. So if you want page 3 to move to page 2, you move the icons for page 2, let's say to page 4, and then the icons from page 3 to the now empty page 2 and then the icons from page 4 to page 3.

You can't change the screens per se, but you can move the app icons from screen to screen and that will, in effect, change the order of the home screens.

Hold down on an icon until it wiggles, then drag the app over to the edge of the screen and just hold it about halfway over on the edge of the screen - unti the icon "jumps" over to the next screen. Move all of your apps to the screens that you want them to appear on and when you are done, tap the home button to stop the apps from wiggling.

If you sync with iTunes, you can move your appsfrom screen to screen in the apps tab of iTunes when the iPad is connected to your computer, when iTunes is running and with the iPad selected under "devices".

it used to be available on the old itunes... they removed it in the new release... totally *****. I like to move whole pages depending on where i'm going... IE vacation mode puts all my work icons on the last page, and travel icons on main page...

You will have to touch and hold on an App icon until the icons jiggle. You can then drag the icons to the screens/places where you want them.

If you happen to use itunes for sync.

You can change the order of screens inside of itunes then sync and the change will take effect.
