I'm wondering if anyone has a way of putting little removable "stickies" or "notes" directly on the timeline to assist with organizing a lot of clips?

MARKERS. They are called MARKERS. You can put them on the clips, or on the timeline.
Yeah thanks Shane, I use markers, but I thought I read about a 3rd party plug-in or something a few years back that allowed yellow "stickies" with a visible word on it that you could stick on the timeline to assist with quick arrangements of like-themed clips? Or leave a message for a co-editor, that sort of thing?
Markers are cool but need to be clicked on for their name to be read. I also use labels (colours) to highlight individuals etc.
No worries I'll sort it out. We all find our own way of editing. Thanks for your willingness to help.

OK so the C'pop notes are actual video templates that sit on the video content as opposed to on the timeline.
