Can I buy from US store if I'm in UK?

I am from the USA but am currently living in the UK. When we first moved here the iTunes store told me I had to switch to the UK store, so I did.

There are some shows that I now wish to purchase that are available in the US store but not in the UK store. Can I switch back to the US store while I am still in the UK to purchase these shows?

We are scheduled to move back home summer 2015, but it is possible we will live in the UK until 2018. We do take a yearly trip back to the US in spring.

Thanks

ps. I miss deep dish pizza (Giordanos) and a good beef n cheddar (Portillos)! =)

Thanks, I think that answers my question. "you cannot buy from a store in another country"

Although I'm not having issues buying in the UK store with my US Apple ID. When I moved here from the US, iTunes had me switch over to the UK store the first time I started my iMac here (paying in GBP now instead of USD) and there have been no problems buying from the UK store at all. All my information that Apple has is now my UK information, billing address, debit card. I am still using the same iTunes account, but it is now on the UK store. Thankfully I didn't have to open a new account, the move was crazy enough!

I guess I was hoping I could switch to the US store while I'm living in the UK since the iTunes store here in the UK does not have as many choices as the US store has.
