What is the make & model of your other wireless router? How do you have the TC configured with this other router? That is, is it configured to join the other router's wireless network or to extend it? Is the TC connected to this other router by Ethernet or by wireless?

it use to be connected thru a home plug system, which goes over the power socket. I took it off and now it's connected directly to the other wireles router. Model Experia Box (VGV7519 model number). For now it works, but actually I would like the TC to be in the room where my Apple TV is etc.

It is configured to extend the wireless network.

It is configured to extend the wireless network.

Since the other wireless router is not another Apple product this option will most likely not work. At least not with the connection between routers being wireless.

However if they are both connected by wire then similar to when you used Powerline adapters, you would need to configure both routers for a roaming network. With this option you want to configure the TC to broadcast its own Wi-Fi network, not extend the Experia's network.
