Unitor 8 - windows 8.1 driver

Hi, I was happily using my Unitor 8 on a Windows XP computer, but the newer versions of Windows don't have a driver that work for them. I assume that Apple has no plans to write a new Windows driver.

Can someone send me the source code of the latest Windows driver? I'd like to port the code to Windows 8.1 and get it working.

Thanks

Hi, I would be very much interested in that as well. Did you obtain the source code? I reckon it will be hard, you might have found this thread already?

(user acidrecords is the one on Gearslutz who has contacted the original writer/coder so maybe you can get in touch through him to obtain the source). Legal issues on the intellectual property I suppose it what's the issue here.

last year i`ve contacted the developer of the emagic drivers.
he would code new drivers if apple will give the okay that they don`t have a problem with him doing so.

This might also prove helpful in your quest (relates to Win 7 32 bit though) as it describes the necessary regkeys that are touched by the install program for XP:
