Hi, I would be very much interested in that as well. Did you obtain the source code? I reckon it will be hard, you might have found this thread already?
(user acidrecords is the one on Gearslutz who has contacted the original writer/coder so maybe you can get in touch through him to obtain the source). Legal issues on the intellectual property I suppose it what's the issue here.

last year i`ve contacted the developer of the emagic drivers.
he would code new drivers if apple will give the okay that they don`t have a problem with him doing so.
