Logic Pro X opens previous Logic pro 9 projects fine, but its not possible to work on them in LPX. There is no record button. Any solutions ?

Thanks for the answer dude. I just found out that with the advanced tools disabled, its possible to record. But when i enable the advanced tools option, the record button disapears. Is there a way that i can work on these old projects with the advanced tools enabled ?
Well, my old LP 9 projects open fine in LP X, I'm stumped as to why your record button disappears when enabling advanced tools... what audiointerface do you use?
O, and just to be clear: are you talking about the control bars' record button, or the channel strip record enable
button(s)? If you indeed mean the first, then tell me: are the channel strip record enable buttons present? Or are they gone too?
I`m talking about the control bars` record button. But wait, the problem is solved! It was because of the display mode which was set to Cutome when i opened LP9 projects and i didn`t notice. changing it to Beats and Projects again and the control bars` record button is back. Thanks for your help.
