How do I add Airplay speaker to my apple tv?

I am planning to buy a BOSE speakers that are specially designed for use them with airplay, and i already have an Apple TV, i would like to know if it is a way to connect the speakers through the Apple TV, or if in this case the Apple TV will be completely useless.

Yes. You can set the output to be airplay speakers within Apple TV settings. Make sure they are the airplay ones and not the bluetooth model.
