Weird white spots on macbook pro display

About a week after my macbook display got replaced I got this weird white spot.

Does anyone know what it is?

When I slightly press the display that spot reacts too, doesn't matter where I press the display. Even when typing it sometimes reacts.

You only see it on light backgrounds, but when typing and a black background is behind the spot, there are white spots appearing.

Is it something that will go away on itself? Because I really really need my mac right know and there's no apple store near me..

MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)

I would wait a little while. Try adjusting the brightness to see if you can get to a setting the reduces how much you notices. Also try making a windinw with a line in it and slide the window across the area to confirm all pixels are active (repeat for vertical and horizontal... or a single diagonal line)

Doesn't make a difference: On darker backgrounds it's harder to see but when the display is lightly pressed (just touching really) it's also seen there. I can check if I can take a picture.

I've got a email of the receipt and it says all apple products have a 1 year warranty. Does that mean my replaced display has it too?

I suggest taking the machine back to the store (I know it is not convenient) and expressing your concerns and tell them what you want.

Problem is that they fixed in the US and I'm back in my home country. The nearest apple store is at the other side of the country. I don't know if the repairs have worldwide garantuee too?
