In Numbers 3.1 - How do you wrap text? within a cell

I am a new mac user. How do you Wrap text within a cell in numbers?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

I'm not able to get this to work. Typing Option + Enterr does not add a second line—it doesn't do anything. And if I click a cell that has a lot of text and then check

WRAP TEXT IN CELL all it does is take the long line of text which is bleeding across the neighboring cells and shortens it to fit in one cell. But you still have to double-click the cell to see all the text. I want the cell to become taller. Is this a bug in V3.2? Thanks.

To me that's what 'Wrap text in cell' means. What did you expect?

I don't think it's a bug. How about increasing the height of the row? You can select the row and drag to lower edge down by the row number, or go here in the panel at the right and click 'Fit':
