Q: iTunes Error Message (-45054)

I am trying to purchase music, but every time I try, I get an iTunes error message saying, "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-45054)." What does this mean and what can I do to fix it?

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.5
