I installed as the Delta app.
I just tried it again. Edit>Delete does show as a menu option, but nothing happens when I click on Delete despite the fact that I have a thumbnail highlighted. HOWEVER, I just had a thought and tried it and it worked.
I clicked on the "View" box, and instead of clicking "thumbnails", I instead clicked on "contact sheet." When I did that, instead of thumbnails in the sidebar and the full page showing in the primary window, the screen turns into a nothing but thumbnails. When I did that, I could click on a page, click Edit>Delete, and the page would delete.
Thanks for poking around on this. It caused me to get to a solution. I also think it should work in thumbnails view, but a workaround is better than it not working at all.

Oct 12, 2014 10:10 AM in response to Csound1by MikeInMI,My son has been recommending the same thing. With Yosemite due out any week now, I'll probably wait. But perhaps I'll do the combo update with Yosemite instead of doing the delta update.
Thanks for the help!

That won't be possible, Yosemite won't appear as an update. It will be a new system entirely. Once Yosemite is installed and starts getting updated it will follow the delta/combo pattern.

Jan 28, 2015 4:33 AM in response to Snidermanby Steve Solanki,Just use the Delete button. It will take a couple of seconds to delete it but it will work.
To get Thumbnail option just click on the icon at the top left corner which looks like a double page and you will get all the options there.

Sep 3, 2016 3:06 PM in response to TigerBrainsby CCmacuser,The Answer is:
You may not perform the edits (such as deleting pages) until AFTER you have saved the scanned document to your computer.
Once saved. Close the document, open it again and Preview will allow you to make changes. (Delete pages etc.)
No Purchase required.

Sep 3, 2016 3:36 PM in response to TigerBrainsby VikingOSX,In El Capitan's Preview, one can simply select a thumbnail in Preview, and hit backspace (delete) to remove the PDF page. Does this work in Mavericks?
