Logic Pro X & Avid Artist Mix - PROBLEM

I've been using the Artist Mix for years with Logic 8 and FCP - great solution for multiple programs. I just upgraded to Logic Pro X which is a great piece of software BUT all I get on the Artist Mix are little green horizontal bars on the display strip. Faders do not move - it's basically dead.

Eucon starts up, sees the Mix and is recognized by Logic on the splash screen. But then the Mix just sits there. I've tried the fixes I've found on the forums. Downgrading EuCon software, firmware, startup sequence, manually starting Eucon etc. Nothing. Just the green bars on the Mix. $1300 of useless.

I've read on the forums that people have been having issues with soft keys and some freezes but mine just does nothing.

I'm running OS 10.9.1, Logic Pro X 10.0.6, EuControl 3.1.0, Duet Apogee

Any ideas?

Final Cut Pro X, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Hi,

I use artist mix in Logic Pro X and works fine, BUT I did have some initial problems. Firstly use latest eucon software. Then turn app nap off on the eucon application icon, after that, I switch mc mix on first, then mac, let it do it's stuff, then run eucon ( not auto load eucon). When eucon recognises mc mix, then load Logic Pro x.

Hope this helps, be patient, it can work and as you know it certainly works pretty well.

I have the same problem with Logic 10.0.7 OSX 10.8 and eucon 3.1.3. It doesn't work and I have test some combination startup. There are some news? Thank you very much

This solution posted above, seems to work very well... if you follow them exactly as stated.

So, making sure Eucon is not currently running... select the Eucon application in your Applications folder...

Right or control Left click on the app and choose Get Info from the pop up menu

Then in the window that opens.. check Disable App Nap and close that window

Done.
