How to check 3G data balance on ipad air cellular ?

Go to settings, general, usage then scroll down to cellular data usage.

The suggestion from Nabtech will not give you cellular usage.

To get cellular usage go to Settings > Cellular Data > Cellular Data Usage.

This will give you your usage for a set period, not your balance. Click on View Account, login and see if your carrier provides that information.
