Q: Why the new Garageband Apple Loops don't appear in Logic 9 ?

Hi i would use the new Apple Loops i downloaded from the latest Garageband

in Logic 9.

Anyone knows how to do that?

A:

Opened my old version of GarageBand, [i suggest anyone who is reading to NOT DELETE the old version from the app folder !! ]

rebuilt the loop index then i went in Logic 9

rebuilt the index and Voilà i have my new loops available also in Logic 9

The simplest way is to find your new Apple loops and drag the folder into your Loop Browser.

Did it, but it doesn't work. After dfragging the folder in the loop browser
the loop buttons turn all grey.
After relaunch Logic no new Loop in the browser and everything is unchanged.
Any ideas?

You could also try dragging one loop at a time into your Loop Browser to see if that works, OR drag a loop directly onto a track in the Arrange window. If you can get it into your Arrange window, right-click on the loop and in the drop-down menu select Export>Add to Apple Loops Library.
