Suddenly unable to import new music with 11.1.4

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes and I'm still not able to add new music from my computer, only iTunes downloads. I've tried opening the files with iTunes, dragging and dropping, adding them to the Automatically Add to iTunes folder, and manually addding them to my library.
