I have a new ipad retina and just today it no longer plays hte videos on the BBC news site nor will it load BBC iplayer. Any help would be great. Thanks

Did it play before? Are you using the latest version? Are you in a different country than you were (if and when it did play)?
Yes it worked perfectly since I had it in January until 2 days ago. Yes I beleive I am using the latest version of the app and the webpage does not open. The app opens but the bbc news app shows no videos and the iplayer app shows no pictures at all. Yes I am still in the UK. Thanks
Can only offer generic things to try like quitting all apps (double tap on Home, swipe all apps upwards quit), then force-restarting the device (hold down Home and Sleep will screen goes dark and a white Apple logo appears, release and wait). Or check your connectivity to see if something changed (Wi-Fi, cellular).
The BBC doesn't consider us foreigners worthy of the digital pleasures, so no iPlayer for us. But the regular app seems to be working ok:
