Yellow Render Bar in FCP has appeared out of no-where. BUT my files aren't proxy.

Hi everyone.

Having a nightmare with rendering in FCP.

Basically I am importing Apple Prores 422 QT at 25fps into FCP, but when I do this I get a yellow render bar?

This has never happened in the past? Usually I just import the media, press 'yes' when it asks if I want to make my sequence the same as the clips and then away I go?

It also seems to be running rediculously slowly which it never has done before?!

I have tried launching an old project which was previoously working fine and the same yellow bars appear.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling all my FCP software. Still the same problem.

Set up:

FCP 7.0

Mac OSX version 10.7.5

Memory 4GB

Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7

Any help would be much appriciated!!!

Final Cut Pro 7, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

If your clips are creating render colors, there's probably something wrong with the sequence settings or the clips.

Also, check your audio specs and your RT settings (left end of the timeline.)

"running rediculously slowly" could be any number of things: lack of free space on your system drive, slow external drives, insufficient RAM, lack of processor power, the list goes on...
