Will long recording video time damage the iPhone lens, chip, hardware?

I noticed there are some car video recording apps available now for users to record video, audio, and GPS data into a video clip. The idea is like the video camera hardware but it's now doing so in your iPhone.

Will long time video & audio & GPS recording damage your iPhone chips and hardware? Say if I drive 1 hour to and from work everyday, do you think the extensive usage will damage the iPhone?
