File size limit when importing videos to iPhoto?

Hi

is there a file size limit for importing videos to iPhoto?

I have a single video file of 6 GB of old memories from my VRC. However, is this a good idea to import such a big file to iPhoto?

There are no documented limits so why not try and see?

I didn't try at first, becouse I was affraid to corrupt my iPhoto lib if anything would go wrong. I've figured out I was trying to import a video with an unsupported codec. After conversion my biggest file was only 640 MB and I can confirm the import worked like a charm.

Aditional info, if anyone is interested: for conversion i've used "Smart Converter Pro 2". The reduction of the file size didn't make any notable quality change since the video were digitalized from an old, already poor quality VHS.
