Locked Iphone 4 with broken home button

So I have a locked iphone 4, i currently have it connected to itunes and it says I need to type in a passcode...And I cant put it into recovery mode because I don't have a home button on the iphone. And its the IOS 6 thats updated on the phone. I havent used the phone in about a year which is how I forgot the passscode. So i am trying to restore the phone.
