In 10.6.8 (no iCloud in 10.6.8) which is what you're showing, Sys Prefs>Software Update, uncheck "Check for updates." If you want to ignore speciified updates, highlight the update, then from the menu>Update>Ignore update.
You can also highlight an update and press the Delete/Backspace key. Software Update will ask you to confirm that you really want to hide the update.
Where is the "Ignore this update"-button?
